Potato Creek State Park - North Liberty, Indiana

PFR *****
Campground ***

This is a really nice state park, and we have a great site!  I would have rated it higher if it weren't for it being electric only, and no discount.  It is pretty expensive, for no water or sewer.

Our site is very large.  It has a gravel parking pad and nice grass.  There is a large tree that provides some shade.  Afternoon shade is provided by the motorhome and awning.  The parking pad is not quite level.  We had to put 2 boards under the front tires to get level.  Even with the boards, the front end is quite high.  We used all 7 xpens, and there is still quite a bit of space between the pens and our neighbor's site.  There is a water spigot right next to our site, so filling our fresh water tank is not a problem.  But, the dump station is just short of a mile away, so pulling the portable tote there will take quite a while.

This is a VERY family friendly park.  Kids EVERYWHERE, and more bicycles than we have ever seen at a campground!  The group across from us occupied 5 sites.  Didn't even try to count the number of people, just too many. The people next to us had 9 people in a TT and were loud till way after 10:30.

The check-out time at this park is 2:00 every day except Sunday.  Sunday check-out time is 5:00!!!
