PFR *****
Campground ****
This is a really nice KOA, and of course, very expensive. The pull-thru sites are wide and long, with good grass between sites, and a concrete patio. The parking pads are gravel.
There is a nice grassy park area that runs the full length of the pull-thru site area.
The only complaint I might have about this park is that all the pull-thru sites have full afternoon sun instead of shade. Although, when we come back for the BRD rally in Sept., we will be in the end pull-thru site which is a buddy site, so our yard will actually be on the shady side.
Site #D405
$64/night ($57.60 with Value Kard discount)
Length of stay 1 night
OTA - About 15
Satellite - All 3
Water pressure - 60 lbs
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
