PFR *****
Campground ***
This is a nice little County park! The sites in the section we are in, are fairly wide and plenty long enough for our coach, if backed all the way to the mid-point. They are butt to butt back-in sites. The gravel pad is wide enough for the coach and the car. There is a good amount of grass between sites. We chose an end site with a LOT of grass. We could have put out all 7 x-pens, but since we are only here for 1 night, we only put out 4. There are a few medium size trees.
The site they put us in when Mike called for a reservation was site 57. It turned out to be just an electrical box in a concrete parking lot. There were 2 other sites in that lot. When we went to the office to check in, we asked if we could change to a different site. The office is quite a ways from the campground. We were afraid there might not be a place to turn around if we drove the motorhome all the way over to the office, so we disconnected the car and drove it over there. There was a turn around area.

I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
