PFR *****
Campground *
This campground is very pet friendly, and has no limit on number of pets. HOWEVER it is not a campground that is good for us. There are only a handful of sites that are long enough for our rig, and most sites are very unlevel. The only site we saw in the campground, that was both long enough for us and level, was site #71.
There are 2 camping sections. Section A is the larger of the two, and has asphalt parking pads. Most of the pads slope down toward the rear. It is like they didn't even TRY to make them level. Might not be a problem with a small trailer, but a MAJOR problem with a long motorhome.
Section B has gravel parking pads, with grass between. The sites are large, but most of them (ours included) flood and retain water when it rains, and are nowhere near level.
Our site was VERY low on the front. we were right next to a small hill that continued to drain rainwater down onto our site for days after the rain. The ground all along the patio side of our MH was VERY soggy and even puddles. There was good grass coverage, but the dogs still got muddy feet. We ended up changing the xpen configuration to go straight out from the door and up the hill. We didn't have any afternoon shade. The only good thing about the site is that there is a water spigot right in front, to fill our fresh water tank. But, the handle on the spigot needs replacing and leaks terribly.
Electric only, no sewer or water

I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
