PFR ****
Campground ***
This campground is all crushed gravel, no grass. The sites are fairly narrow, and only adequate length. Our site had a tree on the awning side, which prevented us from being able to put our awning out more than just part way. Of course, it rained part of the time we were there.
They didn't ask about pets, so we put all the dogs out at the same time. But, it was crowded since our site was narrow and we could only put out 3 xpens.
I made the reservation online. The form I filled out said online reservations would receive a 10% discount. Elsewhere on the web site, it said that NO discount would be giving for online reservations. But, it said that they did give a discount for Good Sam. But, we realized later that even though we gave them our Good Sam card, we did not receive any discount. And, at $40/night, it was over priced.
Length of stay - 2 nights
Site #71
$40/night
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
