Old Post Road Park COE, Russellville, Arkansas

PFR *****
Campground ****

When we checked in, they asked how many dogs we had.  Mike said 4 Japanese Chins.  The lady got excited and wanted to see one.  So, I brought Violet in for them to see.  She and her husband thought she was very sweet and beautiful.  We didn't tell them that we had more than what we originally told them.  I don't know if that actually have any kind of limit.  When we got set up, we went ahead and put all of them out at once.

All of the sites are very wide, and some are VERY long, concrete pads.  The site we have is about 80' deep, with a LOT of green space between our site and the neighbors, and nice shade.  Our site was pretty level, but we did put boards under the rear tires.

The only bad thing about this site is that during the day there are NO antenna channels that are watchable.  At night, we were able to get 3 channels.  Grit was one, so we watched it.

Site #B16
$10/night with National Park pass
Length of stay 1 night

Judith Reese stayed at this campground in site B30 (photo below).  It has a river view.  She said she thinks that B20, 21, & 22 are the best sites, but I don't think they have the shade we had in B16.
