Campground ****
Nice RV park. Very large. Paved streets, LONG pull-thru sites, that are wide and have a level concrete pad. No grass, but there is a pretty good amount of gravel between sites for the dogs. They didn't ask how many pets we have, just if we had any, and put us near the grass pet walk area. We put out 3 xpens and put all of the dogs out at the same time.
Site #34
$34/night with Good Sam discount

I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.

Red Barn RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico
PFR *****
Campground ***+
This is a VERY small campground, only about 10 sites. All of the sites are gravel, with some grass between. Our site is a pull-in, with grass & dirt on the awning side. It is actually a "pull-thru" because to get out we just open the gate in front of us and pull out onto the main street. We are next to a fence with vines covering it, and some trees. So, our dog yard is VERY private. We put out all 5 pens. The campground owner helped up set up, and saw Violet & Heidi at the RV door, and probably heard some others parking. So, not sure how many she thinks we have, but the subject of pets was never discussed.
A LOT of flies. The Roswell mascot is the fly. :)
The campground owner is, Lee, is VERY friendly.
As we were packing up to leave, I called Lee over to meet the kids during their final potty break. She LOVED them! So, there was no problem with having multiple dogs.

Dream Catcher Escapees RV Park, Deming, New Mexico

Campground ***
This campground is a gravel lot, no grass, with a few small trees. The sites are level & plenty wide, but we had to unhook the car to fit in the pull-thru.
There is no wifi, unless you pay for it. No cable. Only a few antenna channels. VERY windy!
But, they do not have a pet limit. I even talked with the desk clerk and manager, as we were checking in, about how many dogs we have. Xpens allowed.
Rate - $18/night

Sentinel Peak RV Park, Tucson, Arizona
PFR *****+++
Campground *****
This park is in the center of Tucson, close to all kinds of shopping and a lot of attractions. It is a "parking lot" park, with only 23 sites & no real amenities, but perfect for what we want, and they love our dogs.
The sites are pretty level, black top, plenty wide and long, with dirt/rock that separate each site.
They have pot luck dinners on all the holidays that are really fun.
Bob & Trish came and stayed a month here with us, which was GREAT!
Mike had an accident on his bicycle on March 11, and broke his leg in 4 places, which delayed our departure by a month & 1/2.
Length of stay - A little over 3 months. Left 5/14
Site #8 This is the largest site in the park. We will be in the same site next year, 2/15 - 4/15.
$599/month peak months, $425/month non peak
No cable. Decent antenna channels though.

This is a fine campground. It is out in the middle of nowhere, in the desert of West TX. The sites are nice size, but not really level. We had to put blocks under the right rear wheels. The guy who checked us in, asked if we had pets, but did not ask how many. We put out 3 xpens, and put all the dogs out at the same time. No one saw them, so don't know for sure if they would have minded.
There is a small restaurant next to the office, the Roadrunner Cafe. The food was good, but a little pricey.

Palmetto State Park, Gonzales, Texas
PFR *****
Campground ****
This was a nice state park, with nice wide spaces. There is only one site with full hook ups, which is the site we got, #2. The site was level, with a blacktop pad. There were a lot of trees, and since it is Winter, the ground was covered with leaves, so we got a LOT of leaves inside the coach. Any of the other sites would probably have been just as good as this one. The subject of dog did not ever come up, during reservation or check-in. So, we put out all of our pens, and let all of the dogs out at the same time.
Length of stay - 1 night
The full hook up site was $20/night. The other sites with electric and water were $18/night. Plus $3 per person entry fee per day.

The sites at this campground are concrete and level, but the sites are pretty close together. There is no privacy.
The guy that checked us in, did not ask about pets, but we did not feel comfortable letting them all out at the same time. We didn't even make our usual yard, because there was a large area of sand, where they had filled in a tire trench.
