Campground *****
This park is in the center of Tucson, close to all kinds of shopping and a lot of attractions. It is a "parking lot" park, with only 23 sites & no real amenities, but perfect for what we want, and they love our dogs.
The sites are pretty level, black top, plenty wide and long, with dirt/rock that separate each site.
They have pot luck dinners on all the holidays that are really fun.
Bob & Trish came and stayed a month here with us, which was GREAT!
Mike had an accident on his bicycle on March 11, and broke his leg in 4 places, which delayed our departure by a month & 1/2.
Length of stay - A little over 3 months. Left 5/14
Site #8 This is the largest site in the park. We will be in the same site next year, 2/15 - 4/15.
$599/month peak months, $425/month non peak
No cable. Decent antenna channels though.
Hi! I can't believe your husband broke his leg...that must have been so difficult for you. I hope he is all healed now. Thank you for your blog. I'm wondering about doing the same thing myself. It is REALLY helpful for those of us traveling with dogs...especially Chins! :)
