PFR *****
Campground ****
This was a nice campground, but of course because it was a KOA it was expensive. The first site they took us to was too tight to get into, and too short for our rig and toad. They switched us to one of their deluxe patio sites, which turned out to be really great. They did not charge us the additional cost for the deluxe site. It had a concrete block and gravel patio with grass around it. We were able to use 5 xpens and made a nice yard. It was a FHU site.
The owner came to water the potted plants while we were packing up to leave, and time for the doggies final potty. She was surprised to see them, but delighted.
Site #92
Length of stay - 1 night
$45/night (The actual cost of this site was $65, but they did not charge us the deluxe price because our original site did not work for us.)
OTA - None
Satellite - All 3 satellites
Water pressure - 65 lbs
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
