PFR *****
Campground ***
This is a nice park but, at least the section we are in, seems to be more suited to trailers. There is only 1 other motorhome, and no 5th wheels. Our site was a bitch to get into. It was sloped down from the road, then leveled off at the parking pad. We had to take the tow bar off to keep it from hitting. It does look like site 37 might be a good site for us if we were to come back.
The yard area is crushed gravel and of good size to use all of our xpens. When Mike made the online reservations, he put 11 in the section about pets. When we checked in, they asked if we really had 11 dogs, and laughed when we said yes.
The other campers don't seem to understand anything about campground etiquette, and keep trespassing on the back of our site to get to the water.
Site #18
$12
No sewer
Length of stay - 3 nights
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
