Wild Frontier RV Resort - Ocala, Florida

 Campground ***

This is a nice campground, but a little pricey for what it is.  We stayed here one night before our appointment at Cummins.  The sites are comfortably wide, with level concrete parking pads and nice grass between sites.  The paved streets, that are one way, are pretty narrow, but the two way ones are fine.

Pine Crest RV Pak of New Orleans - Slidell, Louisiana

 Campground ***

This is a nice campground with paved roads and parking pads.  There was nice grass between sites.  The sites were comfortably wide, but our site was not quite long enough for the rig and car, without parking the car sideways.  Others were a little longer.

Gulf Coast RV Resort - Beaumont, Texas

 Campground ***

This is a nice campground with paved roads and parking pads.  Our pull-thru site was plenty long for us to park the car either in the front or back.  There was nice grass between sites.  The sites were fairly close together, but not really cramped.

Mission City RV Park - San Antonio, Texas

 Campground ***+

This is a really nice campground, with paved roads and paved parking pads.  They are comfortably wide and long enough for both coach and car.  The yard area is small gravel, with a concrete patio and picnic table.  It is neat, clean, well cared for, and has cute little metal sculptures at each site.  It is gated.  We will have to back out to get out of our pull thru site because of a sharp turn and a tree, but that's ok.

There was a mix up with our "buddy site" with Jim & Kathy, so they comped us one night to make up for it.  They actually ended up next to us anyway, so all was good.

There was a bus stop right out front that took us to The Alamo and the River Walk.

10 83 RV Park / North Llano River RV Park - Junction, Texas

 Campground *

This park was awful.  They changed owners between the time we made the reservations, and our arrival.  When we arrived, they claimed that they didn't know that we were in big rigs, and had trouble getting us into sites long enough.  The roads and parking pads were level gravel.  Our site had a pergola, picnic table, and chairs.  But, the "yard" area between the sites had TERRIBLE sticker problem!!  They were everywhere!  We also had an infestation of termites in the landscape timbers on the edge of our site.

Pine Ridge RV Park - Ruidoso, New Mexico

 Campground *

This is a horrible park!  They should not accept reservations for big rigs.  The roads are dirt and have a lot of ruts and washed out areas.  The site we were in and the site that Tim & Lynn were in were up a pretty steep incline between the road and the parking pad.  The owner of the park had to put boards under our rear tires to raise the rear, so that we wouldn't scrape the ground as we drove up it.  However, once into the site, it was very level.  The sites are very narrow.  We were just a couple of feet away from our neighbor's trailer.  The parking pad and "yard" area is large gravel.

Getting out of our site was VERY tricky!  It was tricky for most of our group, but particularly for us.  A tree, a hill, and washed out gully.

Tucson Lazydays KOA - Tucson, Arizona

 Campground ***

This is a nice, clean campground.  The sites are comfortably wide, level gravel, with paved streets and paved car pad next to the RV pad.  Our pull-thru site had a large lime tree at the rear of the site.  We had to pull the motorhome forward farther than we would have liked, in order to put our awning out.  The passenger slide ended up only inches away from the tree limbs.

Some of the sites are under large solar panels, but there is no satellite signal under them.
