Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort - El Mirage, Arizona

 Campground ****

This is a really nice, huge resort.   There are a lot of deeded lots that are clean and well kept.  The streets are asphalt, which are soft in the heat.  Our car and motorhome tires made impressions in it.  The sites are pretty wide and long.  The parking pads are pea gravel.   We did have a little trouble getting level.  There is a nice concrete patio with a concrete table.  The car pad is concrete blocks.  The sites are a little tricky getting into because of the palm trees, but they had 2 guys guide us in.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Resort - Williams, Arizona

 Campground ***

Sites were long enough for the motorhome and car, but were very narrow.  Our awning almost touched the rig next to us.  The streets and parking pads were asphalt, with dirt and lava rock between sites.

Las Vegas RV Resort - Las Vegas, Nevada

 Campground **

The sites were plenty long, but fairly narrow and tight to get in and out of, but level.  Asphalt roads and parking pads, with small gravel between sites.  Quite a few permanent residents.  The park rules stated that dogs were not to "relieve themselves" anywhere other than the designated dog park areas.

Site #299
$38 per night
Length of stay - 5 nights

Grand Plateau RV Resort - Kanab, Utah

 Campground ***

This campground is fairly new.  The sites were comfortably wide and level.  The pull thru site was long enough for our motorhome and car.  The roads and sites were small gravel on top of packed red clay, with a larger gravel separating the sites.  It is a beautiful area, near the Zion National Park.

Site #17
$63 per night
Length of stay - 3 nights

Oasis RV Resort - Durango, Colorado

 Campground **

There are several reasons for the low score of this campground.  This was one of the stops for our Western tour with the group.  They knew months in advance that we were all together, but when we arrived, 2 were on one side of the park and the other 2 were on the other.  Our site was not long enough for our coach and car, without parking the car sideways.  We had to put the rear tires up on blocks to get level.  The roads and sites are gravel.  The sites are pretty narrow and tight to get into an out of.  Tim and Lynn will have to back up and go around to get out of their pull-thru site.  It was also way overpriced for what it is.

Site #401
$76.50 per night
Length of stay - 3 nights

Rawlins KOA Journey - Rawlins, Wyoming

 Campground **-

This is a worse than typical KOA Journey.  It was very basic, with gravel roads & dirt & gravel parking pads.  The space between sites is mostly dirt and fairly narrow.  The pull-thru site was long enough for our rig and car.  Wouldn't want to spend more than a night or 2 here.

Site #16
$45.80 per night
Length of stay - 1 night
