Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort - Foxboro (Foxborough), Massachusetts

 PFR ****
Campground ****

This is a very large, really nice RV resort.  There are a LOT of activities and amenities.  They let us use a large room for our group of 22 to have gatherings.  The pull-thru sites we had were very long.  Long enough for us to park either in front or behind the coach.  The parking pad is level grass and gravel.  They are comfortably wide.  But, the patio area is small rock shards that were uncomfortable for Harvey to walk on.  The pine tree on our site dropped large, quarter sized dollops of sap onto our car and patio awning.

They do not have a pet limit.

Sea-Vu West Resort RV Park and Campground - Wells, Maine

 PFR ****
Campground ****

This is a really nice campground with very large sites.  The sites are much wider than average, and plenty long enough for our 41' motorhome and car, with room to spare.  The parking pad is just grass and dirt, no concrete or gravel, but very level.  The patio is mostly dirt because of mats from previous campers.  The campground roads are well maintained asphalt.  There is a very large deeded park-model section next to the RV section.  It is very nice, and the people are very friendly. If this wasn't in Maine, it is exactly what I would like to have some day.

Narrows Too Camping Resort - Trenton, Maine

 PFR ****
Campground ****

This is a nice campground.  The pull-thru sites are nicely wide and long enough to have room to park our car either in front or behind.  The parking pad is gravel, and there is nice grass between sites.  Our site was pretty level.  They do not have a pet limit, and we used 4 xpens to make a yard.

Riverbrook Campground & RV Park - Rumney, New Hampshire

 PFR ****
Campground ****

This is a fine campground.  The sites are a comfortable size and level.  The sites are grass and dirt.

There is no pet limit and they allow xpens.

They were very accommodating when our group of 8 large RVs needed sites.  We had to leave our temporary Walmart sites early in the morning.  This campground has a large area in front of the park where we could all park until spots in the park became available.

Adventure Bound Camping Resorts / formerly Jellystone Park, New Hampton, New Hampshire

THIS PLACE WAS A JOKE!!!  We were traveling with 9 other coaches, on a New England tour.  Reservations were made MONTHS in advance, for 10 motorhomes, each 40 - 44' long, needing 50 amp electricity.

When we arrived, we were immediately a little skeptical about how well our experience there was going to turn out.  On the main road to the office, there were a dozen cabins, very close to the road.  Each cabin must have been occupied with at least 8 - 10 people because the front yard area of each one was packed with people, sitting in lawn chairs.  Some of them were only a couple of feet off the road, but none moved back.

To get to our assigned sites, we were instructed to make a very sharp, hair-pin turn, that had to be done with a 3-point turn.  Only a couple of the sites were even long enough for a 40' motorhome, much less a 44'!  The sites were also very unlevel, grass & dirt.  Also, they turned out to be only 30 amp instead of 50 amp!  We were promised nice, 50 amp sites, and had been charged $90 per night!!  Our stay was supposed to be 3 nights, but instead it was only about an hour.  Eight of us elected to leave, and "upgrade" to a nearby WalMart parking lot for the night, and find a different campground for the next 2 nights.

The only good thing about our experience there was that they agreed to give us all a full refund.

We weren't there long enough to take photos.

Quechee / Pine Valley KOA Holiday - White River Junction, Vermont

 PFR ***
Campground ***

This is a fine campground.  The sites were comfortably wide and fairly level.  The brick patio took up most of the space under our awning, but we did have a small area of grass under the rear part of the awning.  But, it flooded when it rained.  They don't have a pet limit, and allowed xpens.

Herkimer Diamond KOA - Herkimer, New York

 PFR **
Campground ***

This is a fine campground for a short stay.  The sites are comfortably wide, and fairly level.

They have a 2 pet limit, and you have to supply them with proof of current rabies vaccines.  Since it was just for one night, we did not put up any xpens, and just took two out at a time.

Niagara Falls/Grand Island KOA Journey - Grand Island, New York

 PFR *****
Campground *****

This is a really nice RV resort, but a bit pricey.  Even with our group rate, with our New England tour friends, it was almost $100/night.  We ended up with a really nice site, with a large concrete patio and furniture.  If we had gotten one of the sites the rest of our group got, just grass, no patio, I probably would have given the campground a **** rating.  The parking pad is level gravel.  We used all 7 xpens to make a nice large yard.

Homerville KOA - Homerville, Ohio

 PFR ****
Campground ***

We stopped at this park at the beginning of our New England tour.  The sites were supposed to be pull-thru, but they were only pull-thru if someone else wasn't already in 1/2 of the site.  We lucked out and were able to pull through to the front half of the site, and not have to unhook.  But, the people in the back half of this site had to back in.  We had planned to have happy hour at the pavilion, but there was bird poop all over the tables.  The roads were good, and our gravel site was pretty level.  There was only room for a few xpens.  We set up 2, since we were here for just one night.

Indianapolis KOA - Greenfield, Indiana

August 8, 2021
We first stayed in this park September 17, 2018.  That review with photos is below.

We had a better site this time.  A very large patio and very large yard area.  The roads in front and behind our long pull thru site are in good condition.  So, I have raised the rating for the campground from a ***+ to a **** .

This is a nice campground, with gravel roads & parking pads.  Our site was pretty level, long, and wide, with good grass in the yard area. We could have put out all 7 pens, but we were there for just one night and only put out 2. There are concrete patios and picnic tables.
They have a REALLY nice pool, but we didn't go swimming.  The office has hand-dipped ice cream.
Our site was a pull-thru, but we backed out to leave.  The road in front of us had ruts full of water, and a deep muddy area on the far side of the road, where the previous occupants had squished into the mud when they left.  There was also a large tree on the right side of our site, and posts on the left site, which would have made it difficult to make the turn without hitting one or the other.

Casey KOA - Casey, Illinois

 PFR ***
Campground ***

This is the first KOA we have ever been to that does not allow pet fencing, which is the reason for the 3 stars.  They don't have a limit.

The sites and roadways are pretty tight.  Our pull-thru is just barely long enough for our 41' rig and toad.  The front of the rig is pulled all the way to the edge of the road, and can just barely get the car pulled in, out of the road.  A neighbor 2 sites down had to ask the people across the street to move their car, and still had to pull across the front part of their site to get out.

RV Self Park - Sullivan, Missouri

 PFR ***
Campground ***

This is an unusual park.  There are no attendants, and no office onsite. You make your reservations online, and tell them what time you will arrive.  When you arrive, an electric eye lets them know you are there, and the electricity and water are turned on, and you are allowed access to the sewer connection.  The sites and parking pads are very narrow.  The grass strip between sites is only about 5' wide.  We set up just 2 xpens.  It is ok for just an overnight.

You can reserve the site for 14, 18, or 24 hours.  Or multiple days.  We reserved for 24 hrs.
