Beaver Lake RV Park - Quincy, Florida

 PFR *****
Campground **+

This is a very large, open grassy field, with some FHU RV sites.  It is behind a gas station.  The ground was pretty level, with nice grass.  There was only us and one other camper, 2 sites away, so we had plenty of room.  Could have used all of our xpens.  But, if there had been someone in the "buddy" site next door, (all sites seemed to be buddy sites) we would have been too close to even put out our awning.  However, I doubt they would ever be full enough to fill more than every other site. There were quite a few fire ant beds, so we had to be careful about where we put the xpens. But, it is right off I-10, so very convenient for an overnight stop.

Length of stay - 1 night
Site #4
$38 per night
Satellite - All 3 with rooftop (no trees in the field)

Silver Springs State Park Campground - Ocala, Florida

 PFR *****

Campground ****

This is a very nice campground.  The sites are very large and wide, with trees and distance separating each site.  The parking area and picnic area is covered with very small gravel.  It hurt Harvey's feet, but the rest of the dogs were fine with it.

There is a recycling bin for paper, glass, plastic, and aluminum at one of the bathhouse areas.

We were able to get all 3 satellites with the portable, but one was yellow because of the trees.  We were able to get about 16 over the air channels.

There are walking trails that end up over at the river.

We could have used all 7 xpens, but only put out 4 because we were only here for a few days.

Site #31
Length of stay - 4
$12 per night with FL senior resident discount
Water pressure - 55
OTA - 16
