Campground ***
This is a fine campground, with wide, shady sites. The parking pads are level, but not super long. The parking pad is asphalt, with a gravel boarder. Unfortunately, the parking pad is much higher, (about 1'), than the grassy area, all the way around. So, it was quite a challenge getting the xpens set up so they would stand up. But, once we figured it out, we had a nice big yard. The strange thing about this site is that the picnic table & BBQ grill are about 50' from the parking pad, so it was quite a "hike" to cook on the grill.
Site #55
$10/night
Water pressure 40#
OTA - 20 channels
Satellite - Got all 3 satellites
Length of stay - 6 nights
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.

The Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi

We made a reservation for a week, so we would get the weekly rate of $185, that was advertised on their web site. When we arrived, the total for the 7 nights was $245. He said they did away with the weekly rate about a month ago. He did not mention this fact when I called to make the reservation.
Their grounds maintenance is lacking. There were many weeds that were 3' - 5' tall in the spaces between our site and our neighbors.
They are building a very large 2 story house on the property, so the sound of construction is constant all day.
The sites we stayed at before this time are not as wide as we remembered them being.
We will probably not stay here again.
Site #7 (bottom 5 photos)
Length of stay - 1 week
$35/night (no weekly rate)
Cable TV
Wifi - works pretty well most of the time
Satellite - too many trees in our site
OTA - 4 channels including Metv
Water pressure - 55

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this campground. It is REALLY nice. We love it! The sites are wide, level, terraced, and semi-private, separated by some natural foliage. Great for the dogs..

Deerlick Creek Park COE - Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Campground **
This campground might be fine for people who only have 1 or 2 dogs, or no dogs, but doesn't work for us at all. Our site is VERY narrow, and on the side of a cliff. There is NO yard space on the awning side.
The concrete parking pad is only wide enough to have about 1' space on the driver side, and barely enough to make a "sidewalk" down the passenger side. The ground next to the pad on the driver side barely has enough room to get to the utilities before it goes down a steep hill. The ground on the passenger side is pine needles about 3" thick, and slopes up to the road. The patio area is BEHIND the parking pad. So, the dogs had very little yard area, since most of the xpens were used to make a walkway to lead to the patio area.
When we first arrive, and saw how un-xpen-friendly this site was, we drove around and looked at all the other available sites. As it turned out, our site was the BEST! So, we will not be staying here again. We had reserved this site for 2 weeks. But, we only stayed 4 nights, then moved to Campground at Barnes Crossing in Tupelo.
Site #29
Length of stay - 4 nights
$12/night
Water pressure - 20 lbs
OTA - 4 channels
Satellite - Finally did find one satellite after moving it multiple times.
