PFR *****
Campground ****
This is a COE campground on Lake Lanier. Sites have electric and water, but no sewer. The sites are angled and very spacious. There is a level concrete pad with crushed gravel/dirt yard area. Our site has a nice view of the lake, but is one of the very few that doesn't have any shade until late afternoon/evening.
Since we were here for 2 weeks, we had to use the bath house. It was kept very clean.
They do not have a pet limit. One of the camp hosts came by on her golf cart one night, and loved seeing them.
Site #6
Length of stay - 14 nights
$12.86/night with the National park senior pass
I keep this blog to keep track of campgrounds we have stayed in, for our own future reference. Prior to 7/15/22, at the top of each entry is PFR. That was my Pet Friendliness Rating, of one to five *. Five being best. Now I only rate the campsite. We used to travel with 10 small dogs, but sadly, we have lost many of our elderly dogs, and are now down to just 1. So, the multiple dog friendliness is no longer important to us. Prior to 11/1/19, we traveled with 6 - 12 dogs.
